Having already visited the Blue Elephant location in Sathorn, I had some idea of what to expect. However, my expectations were blown away by this newest iteration of their fabulous Thai food and ambience. The Blue Elephant Sukhumvit offers a similar dining experience to Sathorn, but in the more intimate setting of a 70+ year old traditional Thai house. The food, cocktails & wine pairing options are all top notch presented by an attentive and knowledgeable staff. We selected the Chef's Thai Tasting Menu which was a memorably delicious dining adventure with course after amazing course. If you are looking to enjoy an upscale yet casually intimate Thai dining experience be sure to make a reservation here and be prepared for a truly wonderful evening. ~ Dave B

During my 5-day stay in Thailand, this was the only restaurant I visited twice—and that says everything. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful and welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and we felt very well taken care of. I especially want to mention Koko, who was exceptionally thoughtful and professional. The level of care and attention he showed really stood out and made our experience even more special. We ordered several dishes including Tom Yum Goong, crab fried rice, and mushroom soup, and every single dish was outstanding. Everything was so delicious that we couldn’t resist coming back a second time. If I visit Thailand again, I would 100% come back here without hesitation. Highly recommended! ~ Jinah Y

This is the second and newest Blue Elephant restaurant in Bangkok. It does not disappoint…. set within an absolutely beautiful garden setting and historic home, it is an oasis that will transport you to a bygone era. The service is impeccable. There wasn’t a time in our three hour dinner that we felt ignored or forgotten. The dishes were all delicious and presented with care. What I also appreciate is the choice of white or brown rice served hot from a traditional Thai rice basket. GM Khun Channa Amara and his capable team make you feel right at home. Everyone is attentive and deliver Thai hospitality that is warm and authentic. We now have two great Blue Elephant restaurants to choose from now. Go, you won’t be disappointed! ~ Daniel W

Blue Elephant is a must visit on your trip to Thailand. It was so good that we visited twice during our stay- once at the Sathorn Location and we saved our last evening for dinner at the Suhkumvit location. Funny enough on the evening we dined at Suhkumvit location coincidentally the same staff members attended us as when we dined at Sathorn. A special shoutout to Kookai and Bun for not only recognizing us, but once again ensuring we had a great experience. Your food and drink suggestions were on point!! We loved everything and together with your warm and kind hospitality we feel like part of the Blue Elephant Family- truly a highlight of our trip and experience we will never forget. Une merveilleuse soirée. Tou le personnel est accueillant et aux petits soins. La cuisine est excellente. Nous avions pris une salade de papaye succulente et un pad thai au crevette. This is a vintage, another level, very beautifull , unique Thai otentic cuisine.... Great food, great place, great staff (they are very very honnest, mindfull, nice and know excellent about what they have)... they can recomend the best food forr you without you have to be afraid of a conflict of interest (they want to sell their food as many as they should.... Nooo.. they dont!!) Their recomendation is OK for the taste and the amount... And the cuisine they serve, i never met it in Indo... or is it just me.... Aniway... i forget about the name, the room is a little bit to dark to take giod photos... I hope it still can help to decide.. try or not try... my recomendation is "dont try but LOVE it!!!!" 😁 ~ albert l

We were in the area and dropped in for a family dinner with a party of 8. The restaurant staff were very friendly and welcoming. We promptly got a table in the outdoor setting and were handed some towels with eucalyptus fragrance to freshen up. We were very impressed with the menu and selection of dishes with high quality local ingredients. Prices are on the higher end but completely justifiable considering the quality of the food, service and the venue. We ordered many entrees, mains and drinks and we enjoyed everything equally. Staff were very accommodating and attentive. The experience was worth every penny!! If you are looking for an authentic and luxurious Thai food experience then this is the place for you!! ~ G K

Chef tadım menüsü için gittik. 6:30’dan 10’a kadar devam etti. Çok farklı görseller ve lezzetler ile çok keyifli bir deneyim oldu. Découvert à Bangkok ce restaurant par hasard. Très bon accueil. Le décor est typique du pays et très sympa et chaleureux. La cuisine est très raffinée avec goût. La présentation est faite avec goût. Ils sont vraiment à vaut petit soin. Ils vous expliquent comment le plat et préparer les condiments qu'il a. Les produits sont frais. Prévoir un budget. We chose the Chef Recommendations Set Menu with the wine pairing, starting with two incredible and uniquely crafted cocktails from the restaurant’s menu. From the very first sip (and bite!), we knew we were in for something special. The menu was a masterpiece—each dish showcased outstanding culinary creativity, using the finest ingredients while staying true to authentic Thai flavors. The entire experience was absolutely flawless. The stunning ambiance, the impeccable and genuinely warm service, the phenomenal food, the expertly crafted cocktails, and the perfectly paired wines all came together to create a magical evening. The value for money is simply incredible. We cannot wait to return, and we wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Bangkok who loves exceptional food and an unforgettable dining experience. A must-visit! ~ Yoav C

I went yesterday to the bleu Elefant very spontaneous with a friend and it was such a great experience, nice ambient, service and food. We took the heritage testing menu it was awesome maybe for me not all the food was my taste but how there was serving that and how they was explain how to eat it and with what ingredient they are prepared is such a details orientated, I like it very much. Our main waiters was MR. Si Thu and he did his job super great, (of course, the other waiters was lovely and kind and do the job really good too) me I like the details how they was serving the drink and the food always was from the right side. And look at the picture that I took from the food and at the end, we get some digestive drink too, plus giving away presents and it was pouring raining and they gave us a raincoat. I feel very welcome and in good hands really high recommended try it! ~ Sai W

Un ristorante incantevole, personale gentilissimo e molto amabile carta Vini ricca. Siamo capitati per caso abbiamo mangiato benissimo uno dei ristoranti dove abbiamo mangiato meglio il direttore del ristorante è stato veramente carino. Ci ha consigliato un vino thailandese molto buono. Abbiamo fatto una scoperta entusiasmante. First off all, this restaurant was near to the hotel we stayed at. Before we could go to our table,we received excellent and polite service from the staff and kindly seated us at a good spot. We were served a complimentary dish (the waiter also changed it from mushroom soup to coconut as we can’t eat mushroom). The food was really good, so was the presentation and atmosphere and the service. Maybe the only downsides might be that the food is expensive and some food items (especially the starter) didn’t have enough food quantity. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this place to tourists, and foodies (especially Thai Lovers). ~ Hitesh S

We came to Bangkok for a 5 day family trip. The food here is just awesome that we returned for 3 times (total 4 times). Very yummy river prawn pad thai, green curry, salad, nuts etc. the starter was beef soup, boiled for 10+ hours and coconut milk crab meat; felt instantly energized. The service was excellent too. I couldn’t have strong spicy; they adjusted the spiciness of green curry to my preference to retain curry and coconut milk favor but not very spicy. The staff were very friendly to my 4.5 year old boy. They also gifted us curry paste and cook book to try making curry at home. Thank you for the yummy food and excellent service ~ Jackie C

Wow. I have been traveling for 3 weeks - London, Rome, Naples, Amalfi Coast and now Thailand. And this is hands down the best food we have had. Absolute 10/10, incredible. We went with the waiters recommendations - a beef and a crab dish. They were both 10/10. And the service …. This is another level of service. We are at expensive, Michelin starred restaurants in London and the service at this Thai restaurant was better than all of them. This place is worth double the price IMO. I’m sitting here, on their beautiful patio, writing this review and feeling fully satiated. ~ Monica R

Absolutes kulinarisches Highlight auf höchstem Niveau . Sowohl geschmacklich als auch fachlich perfekt zubereitete Speisen und sehr kreativ präsentiert. Die Menüs sind ihr Geld auf jeden Fall wert und lassen keine Wünsche offen. Der Service ist hoch professionell und erfüllt jeden Wunsch. Ganz besonders möchte ich noch unseren Kellner erwähnen der uns den ganzen Abend begleitet hat und einen phantastischen Job gemacht hat. Exceptional! We arrived on the wrong day having booked for the next evening. Min met us and informed us that they were fully booked with large corporate events. Sensing our disappointment he quickly arranged that we would eat in a private dinging room upstairs. All aspects of the evening were truly exceptional. We received the most amazing service from Min (despite him attending to the event downstairs) and Puen. We also enjoyed chatting to Dean who had managed the London restaurant. We ate the Heritage Tasting Menu with wine pairing. The food was exceptional - especially the amuse bouche and starters. Gary - a huge fan - of chicken satay - declared it the very best he had ever tasted. We have never experienced such quality of service - we felt that we treated like royalty rther thn people who had booked for the wrong night. We were so impressed that we have booked for the Blue Elephant in Sathorn when we return to Bangkok at the end of the month. ~ Miles W

Expérience parfaite. Nous avons pris le menu « Héritage » qui fut excellent à tout point de vue! Personnel charmant parlant un excellent anglais. A noter qu’il s’agit des mêmes tenanciers que l’établissement parisien près de la Bastille qui nous enchantait en son temps. ~ Vincent C
